Mark Ewusi Mensah
Mark is the Commercial & Technical Director at Venice Construction. Before joining Venice, Mark worked with Infrastructure System Limited, Engineering & Logistical Service Limited (ELS) as a Contracts Manager on various project including Phase Il of Takoradi port expansion project and early works for Takoradi Oil Refinery Project for Takoradi Oil Refinery Company Limited (TORCL), also provided project management services for the Construction of GE Facility and Workshop for GE at Takoradi Port.
In 2013-2015 he joined African Minerals Limited, Sierra Leone as Senior Contracts Administrator assigned to the Procurement and Contract Department on the Tonkolilli & Pepel Iron Ore Project. In 2011, he joined Flour Mongolia, a Global Engineering and Construction Company providing EPC Services as a Contract Administrator on the Rio Tinto/Ivanhoe Mines Project, Oyo Tolgoi in Mongolia.
In 2005-2011, he worked with Lycopodium Minerals Pty (Ghana) Limited on various gold mine capital projects including Nzema Gold Mine project, Chirano Ghana Gold Mine Expansion Project, Ahafo Gold Mine Project and Amoma Pit, Waste Dump and Haul Road at Ahafo Newmont Mine. He held different roles and positions as Quantity Surveyor, Contract & Cost Engineer, Scheduler and Contract Administrator with Lycopodium. Mark's career started with a role as Site Engineer and Quantity Surveyor for ACP Estates and Building Industry Consultants respectively. Mark has a strong Commercial & Contract background and holds a BSc. Degree in Building Technology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and PG Dip in Construction Law and Practice University of Salford – Manchester UK.
