He is renowned for embedding safety governance, risk resilience, and sustainability excellence into organizational DNA, ensuring compliance while driving operational performance. 

With mastery in ISO Integrated Management Systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001), James has successfully guided organizations through certification journeys, closing gaps from audits to full compliance. His expertise spans risk assessment, incident investigation, emergency preparedness, and sustainability reporting, making him a trusted authority in aligning safety performance with business continuity and regulatory expectations. 

James is a proactive safety culture architect known for his ability to translate complex HSE data into actionable insights that empower leadership teams and frontline workers alike. He designs and delivers impactful training programs, elevating workforce awareness and contractor accountability, while ensuring robust emergency response frameworks are tested and operational. 

He holds a Master’s in Occupational Safety & Health Risk Management and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, complemented by globally recognized certifications including NEBOSH International General Certificate, CQI/IRCA Lead Auditor (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001), PECB Lead Implementer, and Minerals Commission HSE Manager’s Competency Certificate. 

James has been honoured with the Young Safety Professional Excellence Award (2025) and has led organizations to national recognition for compliance reporting, safety awareness, and sustainability leadership.
